Arabic Culture

Cultural approach

Teaching Arabic while keeping a constant eye on the cultural aspect is in the heart of Ahlan’s teaching method. Ahlan’s instructor is not just a teacher who holds a degree in Arabic, he/she is equipped with the right tools to guide you through the Arab and Islamic culture and to answer your curious questions.

Books and materials

Ahlan instructors rely on the best Arabic books used in the field of teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers. In addition, our tailor-made classes will use literature texts, religious texts, songs, or other types of media depending on the student’s needs.

Teaching Method

Every teacher has his own personality and approach. What’s common is that each one of them will put your learning goals as his/her priority. They will tailor the lessons to suit your needs and help you achieve great results.

Why choosing a teacher from Egypt?

With over 100 million inhabitants, Egypt population is about the third of the Arab world. An Egyptian teacher will give you insights on the Egyptian culture that has always been in the heart of the Arab World. And maybe you will catch some of the Egyptian humor.

Why choosing a teacher from Jordan?

Jordan is a country rich with culture, history, and accents. It’s home of the Levantine Arabic spoken variably in Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine. A Jordanian can be from a Palestinian, Syrian or Bedouin background. He/she can help you explore the Levantine region and teach you about his/her rich culture.

What is the difference between expert and trainee teachers?

You may choose your online Arabic lessons with expert teachers or trainee teachers. All our teachers are native speakers and have the proper training to teach online. However, the expert teachers have many years of experience, while the trainee teachers are starting their careers and have less experience. On the other hand, classes with trainee teachers are cheaper. We assure the quality of our classes, no matter what teacher category you choose. You will learn Arabic for sure, you just have to decide how much you’re aiming to invest.
