Plot: Mona comes from a poor family; she has a modest job in a bank. Her father illness and her need for money force her to be the mistress of an old rich man. Mona meets Adel who works for her lover Abdou, he confesses his love for her. Later on, Mona persuades Adel to resign and start his own company; she gives him her jewelry as a capital and leaves Abdou her lover.Mona and Adel’s love faces many challenges along the way.

Trivia: Samira Abd Al Aziz, a fellow actress and a close friend to Faten Hamama revealed that an insult that the latter said unintentionally in one of the movie scenes caused her to cry for 3 days. Faten who was always keen to keep her art clean from vulgarity asked the director to cut the insult out but he refused the thing that made her very angry and depressed.
